Fluoropolymer Coatings (such as coatings containing Kynar Resin), provide incredible durability and performance when used on architectural products installed in normal and coastal locations. These types of coatings are resistant to chalking, fading, chipping and peeling. Most fluoropolymer coatings come in a vast spectrum of colors to complement any architectural design. Metallic options are also available.
Designers might specify these types of coatings if they're looking for:
- UV fading resistance
- A longer finish warranty
- Resistance to seacoast conditions (i.e. salt/seaspray)
