Click "Read More" to get started on day 3's term, Juliet Balcony.
A Juliet Balcony is a type of architectural railing that is considered "false" and/or "decorative". This term is used to describe a very small balcony approximately one foot in depth.
Juliet balconies also provide protection where sliding doors or french doors are installed on high-rise structures. Straight-line juliets are often installed to prevent children and adults from accidentally falling though the door opening.
